Our Team of passionate and committed volunteers are loving and supporting people through:
Our weekly Community Pantry: For a £5 donation you will receive at least £25 of items. Choose from fresh, frozen, tinned, packets, household, toiletries & pet food. You can be signposted or self-refer for this scheme. This is for people living in PO14, PO15, SO30 and SO31 postcodes and receiving benefits of some kind.
Fareham Foodbank: We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by Trussell (formally known as The Trussell Trust), working together to help combat poverty and hunger across the UK. Free food parcels are accessed by asking a professional (e.g. GP, social worker, support worker) who is working with you to make a referral via our online referral system. You can also call ‘Help through Hardship’ on 0808 208 2138 or pop in to the Waypoint Hub to speak to an on-site Citizens Advisor (see below).
Our Community Lounge: We offer a warm space to sit and have a hot drink, make some toast and chat with our friendly team, as well as get to know others in the community. We offer toys and games for children, free wi-fi, and a space to relax, as well as an opportunity to get to know what else is going on at Waypoint Church.
Citizens Advice Outreach: Drop-in to get some advice: Tuesdays 10am – 12noon and Wednesdays 9am – 12noon (please note Wednesday drop-in sessions are available strictly for existing Hub families only)
Donations: from our local community are a key part of keeping our shelves stocked. Unopened and in-date items can be left at any of our donation points:
