In Matthew chapter 7 verse 7, Jesus instructs his followers to Ask, Seek and Knock, he's encouraging those who trust him to pray with a rising intensity and in faith. The heart of Jesus in this verse is that God pays attention to his people and he is ready to answer them, what an incredible God we have!
Stay after the service and pray with one another, you can also expect a couple of songs to help us focus on God before we split our time up in three ways:
1. We will be Asking of God. This section is all about highlighting one key area either globally, nationally, locally or about the Church, and asking God's favour, wisdom, and power over it. This focus will change month by month.
2. We will be Seeking God and waiting on what he might want to say to us (either personally or collectively), before a brief feedback and then a chance to pray for what the Spirit puts on our hearts.
3. We will be Knocking on God's door for one another. This section enables us to pray for one another as scripture commands, as we intercede on behalf of our Church family.
In the South Auditorium after the main service.
